Saving Francesca

Saving Francesca - Melina Marchetta After reading this book, I can finally grasp how a majority of the reviewers are feeling. I kept swearing to myself, "One more chapter and I'll pick it back up in the morning." Clearly, I'm a liar, liar...pants on fire.

As silly as it sounds, I'm in awe of Saving Francesca and I plan to eagerly consume the rest of Melina Marchetta's works. The attachment to Francesca was instantaneous, especially since her story hits so close to home with me and I couldn't help but discover an array of kindred spirits within Frankie's relationship dynamics between her family and friends. I would definitely recommend this book to any member of the female persuasion and I have a sneaking suspicion that Saving Francesca will easily creep into my category of comfort reads.
